JOIN CLUB MESSY!

Club Messy is a new, after school arts and crafts club at Messy Monets Kid’s Art Studio. Kindergarteners through 2nd graders are invited to join our Dabblers class. We offer three, 10 week sessions throughout the year that can be stand alone, but also build on each other. Weekly sixty minute classes are filled with sensory exploration, process art and STEAM based crafting. Children will gain skills in collaboration, independent thinking, and problem solving while learning color theory, the principles of art and design, and a touch of art history. Each class will include work on a guided craft or project, sensory play, and collaborative opportunities. All arts and crafting materials are provided as well as the opportunity to be featured in Messy Monets’ Art Shows.

Club Messy provides a fantastic after-school outlet for children in early elementary, offering a space where they can explore creativity without the pressure of a perfect outcome. It’s in this free-form environment that kids develop and refine fine motor skills by working with different materials like clay, paint, and scissors, which directly supports their handwriting and dexterity. Club Messy also boosts problem-solving and critical thinking skills as kids plan and execute their projects. Most importantly, it gives kids a chance for self-expression, helping them build confidence and emotional regulation through the process of turning a mess into a masterpiece.
