Dollhouse Camp AM

Ages: Children entering 1st through 7th grades in the Fall
Duration: 4 days, 3 hours per day

In this immersive, design-focused camp, kids will transform an IKEA Flisat Dollhouse ($50 value included in camp price) into a one-of-a-kind space inspired by their own imagination. This isn’t just decorating—it’s a full creative experience that blends design, art, and hands-on making.

We’ll start with a design workshop to help each child explore ideas, choose a creative direction, and plan their space. From there, they’ll bring their vision to life using a variety of materials and techniques, including painting, collage, and printmaking to create custom patterns, textures, and details.

Using a mix of traditional art supplies and recycled materials, kids will design and build their own miniature furniture and elements—turning everyday items into something completely new and imaginative.

Each day builds on the last as kids:

• 🎨 develop their own unique concept and style
• 🏠 customize and transform their dollhouse room by room
• 🖐 experiment with materials to add depth, texture, and personality
• ♻️ create furniture and details from recycled materials
• ✨ create a finished piece they’ll be proud to display and play with

Whether they imagine a cozy bookstore, a pet shop, a fairy hideaway, or something completely unexpected, this camp is all about turning ideas into something real.

Good to know: This is a drop-off camp, so grown-ups are not required to stay. Kids are welcome to bring a snack and water bottle. Children should be comfortable using scissors, tape, and a hot glue gun independently (with supervision and training).
