1. Reservation & Payment Policy

A $50 non-refundable reservation fee is required to secure your celebration date and time. Dates are not held until this fee is received.

The remaining balance is due by the start of the celebration unless otherwise arranged in advance.

Final guest count and selected project/theme must be confirmed at least 5 days prior to the celebration so materials and studio setup can be prepared.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Reservation fees are non-refundable, as they secure your date and cover preparation time.

If you need to reschedule, one date change may be accommodated with at least 7 days’ notice, based on studio availability.

Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 7 days’ notice may result in forfeiture of the reservation fee unless due to illness or emergency.

3. Studio Expectations

Messy Monets Studio Celebrations are creative, hands-on experiences designed to be enjoyed respectfully by all participants.

By booking a celebration, you agree to the following:

• For Family Art Celebrations and younger groups, this is a family-style experience, not a drop-off event. Grown-ups are expected to remain present and supervise children.
• Families are welcome to bring their own food, cake, and tableware. Please keep it peanut free due to allergies.
• Messy Monets provides all art materials and handles art-related cleanup.
• Treat studio materials, furnishings, and equipment with care.
• Messy Monets is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. We highly recommend wearing play clothes or anything that can handle a little paint — messy is in the name after all!

We reserve the right to end a celebration early if behavior becomes unsafe or destructive, though this is very rare and easily avoided with clear expectations.

4. Liability Waiver

Participation in art activities may include the use of paint, basic art tools, sensory materials, and movement within the studio space.

By signing below, you acknowledge and accept that:

• You understand there is minor inherent risk involved in creative studio activities (paint spills, slips, use of child-safe tools, etc.).
• You agree to release and hold harmless Messy Monets, its owner, and the Chestnut Center for the Arts from liability for minor injuries or accidents that may occur during normal participation.
• You accept responsibility for supervising the children in your party and communicating any relevant needs or concerns to guests.
• You agree to inform Messy Monets of any significant allergies or sensitivities that may affect participation.

5. Photo & Media Permission

Messy Monets occasionally uses photos of studio activities for website and social media sharing. No names are ever used.

6. Agreement

By submitting this form, I confirm that I am the responsible booking adult for this celebration and agree to the policies and expectations listed above on behalf of myself and my guests.
