In the event of an emergency, I authorize Messy Monets staff to seek medical care for my child if I or our emergency contact cannot be reached.

General Acknowledgement of Participation in Class *

I understand that my child will be participating in hands-on art and sensory activities that may include paint, glue, dyes, and other creative materials. I understand that some activities may involve the use of tools such as scissors, tape, and (for older groups) supervised use of hot glue guns. I acknowledge that participation in these activities involves inherent risks, including minor injuries such as bumps, scrapes, or irritation from materials. I agree that, except in cases of gross negligence, I will not hold Messy Monets or its staff liable for injuries or incidents that may occur as part of normal participation.

Safety and Behavioral Acknowledgement *

I acknowledge that the safety of all of the Messy Monets’ students/participants comes first and if my child’s behavior compromises that safety, that I may be asked to remove my child prior to the scheduled end time. I understand that in severe behavioral cases, Messy Monets maintains the right to request that my child not return to future classes if the safety of the group is put at risk. Any refunds will be at the discretion of Messy Monets.

Photography and Videography Consent *

Yes, you may use images and videos of my child as Messy Monets sees fit including but not limited to social media, website, and future marketing purposes.

*Messy Monets reserves the right to take pictures and/or video recordings during camps, classes, and all events at our studios. Messy Monets is not responsible for the distribution or use of any images or videos that your child might be in taken by other class participants.

Allergy Acknowldegement *

I acknowledge that any allergy information that may be necessary in regards to this camp has been disclosed in the appropriate place in my child’s registration. I confirm that Messy Monets will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions my child may have outside of the information I have listed in their registration.

*Messy Monets will do our best to avoid common allergens and toxic ingredients, but please be aware that art products such as paint, glue, and soap can be irritating to the skin. Please inform Messy Monets if any reaction does occur and we will work to replace said item if able.

Clothing Policy *

I acknowledge that Messy Monets is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought into the Chestnut Center or Messy Monets Studio. This includes any damage or stains that may occur on clothing from use of art and craft materials being used in the studio.

*Messy Monets has aprons available in children’s sizes. Adults are welcome to bring their own aprons when participating in classes. It is advised to have your child wear “paint clothes” or clothing that you don’t mind being ruined.

Food and Drink Policy *

Yes, my child may have any treats or snacks that Messy Monets brings in as part of that day’s lessons.

*Messy Monets does not generally allow any eating or drinking in the studio to prevent any damage to artwork or accidental ingestion of non-food items. Children may bring a snack and water bottle. Messy Monets does not provide daily snacks. Children should not share snacks due to allergies. We will have a designated snack/water break during the Club Messy camps.

Refund Policy *

I acknowledge that registrations are non-refundable within 30 days of the camp start date.

We keep our camp sizes small to create the best experience for every child. Because of this, registrations are non-refundable within 30 days of the camp start date. Some camps also require materials to be purchased in advance. The following supply fees are non-refundable after registration: Dollhouse Camp, $50 supply fee and the Great Big Family Mess Fest, $20 per T-shirt. We understand that things come up—accommodations may be made in cases of illness or injury. Please reach out ASAP if you need to cancel.

Parent Participation Policy *

I acknowledge that a parent or trusted adult must be present if my child is under the age of 5 (Kindergarten grade level) and must actively participate in the class with the enrolled child to aide them in the projects and prevent any accidents or injuries with close, one-on-one supervision. I understand that I will be asked to bring a second adult if I have more than two children (enrolled or not) in the studio under my direct supervision.

*Messy Monets does our best to make class fun, engaging, and age appropriate for toddlers and preschoolers, but some of the activities will still require help from grown-ups. We understand that not everyone has access to additional childcare, and because of this children under 18 months old are welcome to come along with their parent and older sibling free of charge, but for safety and supervision we ask that parents not have more than two children in the studio without another adult helper along.

Club Messy Pick-Up Policy *

I understand that Club Messy camps are drop-off programs. The following individuals are authorized to pick up my child:
